►► ZAMBIA: Proflight Zambia to start Lubumbashi, Lilongwe ops from mid May.

[UPDATE 15 MAY] Proflight Zambia (P0) is set to embark on its first regional operations with the launch of 3x weekly Ndola - Lubumbashi (DRC) and 3x weekly Lusaka - Lilongwe (Malawi) flights, effective 16MAY13.

► ZAMBIA: Proflight to resume 2x daily Lusaka - Livingstone flights from April.

Proflight Zambia (P0) is to resume twice daily Lusaka - Livingstone flights effective 01APR 2013. The service operates using a Jetstream J41.

► MOZAMBIQUE: SA Airlink to start Johannesburg - Vilanculos from March 2013.

Following the withdrawal of Federal Air (7V) from the route earlier this month, SA Airlink (4X) is to introduce 5x weekly Johannesburg (ORTIA) - Vilanculos, Mozambique flights effective 22 March 2013. The flights will initially operate 3x weekly (Days 135) to be increased to 5x weekly (Days 12357) from July 2013.

► ANGOLA: AirJet Angola adds Jetstream 41 to its fleet.

Angolan outfit AirJet, based in Luanda, has announced it is adding an ex-Angola Air Services Jetstream 41 aircraft to its current fleet of four Embraer-120s.
