TUIfly Nordic(6B), the Stockholm-based charter subsidiary of the TUI Travel international leisure travel group, is set to offer a once weekly B787 service between Scandinavia and Mombasa, Kenya with effect from December 22 until March 30, 2014. 
According to AirlineRoute, TUI Nordic's flight will originate in Stockholm, stopover in Helsinki before proceeding to Mombasa. The Boeing 787-8 aircraft service is provided by Thomson Airways (BY).

Thomson is scheduled to begin its own B787 flights between London Gatwick and Mombasa from May 2014.
Meanwhile, Swiss charter carrier, Edelweiss (WK), will abandon its weekly Zurich - Mombasa charter service with effect from February 23 (outbound) and February 24, 2014 (inbound).
