■ GHANA: Mahama appoints new boards, bosses for Ghana Airports Company, Civil Aviation Authority.

Ghanaian president, John Mahama, has reconstituted the Boards of both the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) appointing new board chairmans and members.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Mr Mahama said he had reconstituted the board of the GACL, dissolved last week, in consultation with the Council of State with local lawyer, Anthony Lithur, as chairman and Dr. Ebenezer Ayirebi Acquah, Irene Marfo, Betty Solomon Aryeh Gizealla Agbotui and Vitus Anaab-Bisi as members.

Meanwhile, Air Vice Marshall Christian Edem Dovlo has been appointed chairman of the GCAA with Air Commodore Kwame Mamphey (Rtd.) appointed the body's Director General. Other board members  include Captain Daniel Gomez, Yaw Benneh, Sanja Anita Morrison, Alhassan Suhuyini and Peggy Addo.
