fastjet (FN) says one of its three Airbus A319s was temporarily grounded in Tanzania following a birdstrike on August 8. The incident resulted in some flights between Dar es Salaam and Mwanza being cancelled.
While the LCC did not expand on which aircraft was affected, it stated its technical team was awaiting the delivery of the new replacement parts (affected parts are quoted as the weather radar) with the aircraft to return to service "as soon as possible."
