Namibian national carrier, Air Namibia (SW), has issued yet another advisory regarding an impending reorganization of its flights over the period September 9 to 23. In a statement, the airline said the move is necessary as one of its Airbus A319s and another Embraer ERJ135 are due to undergo mandatory maintenance over the period.
Air Namibia(SW) Schedule Changes
(Effective September 9 - 23)
- Windhoek - Cape Town SW703: to depart at 09h30 instead of 07h55 from Monday to Friday while departing at 10h30 on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
- Cape Town - Windhoek SW704: departs at 13h40 on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The revised flight schedule for Walvis Bay and Lüderitz - Oranjemund is applicable for the period of September 09-17, 2013.
- Lüderitz - Oranjemund SW143: flights to operate in the afternoon on Monday and Wednesday, and departs for Lüderitz at 14h40. The Friday flight departs a bit earlier at 10:20 while the Sunday flight is cancelled.
Walvis Bay (WVB) flights are adjusted as follows:
- Walvis Bay operations on Monday, Wednesday and Friday are cancelled.
- Walvis Bay - Windhoek SW166: departs at 12h20 instead of 13h20 (Sunday)
