Air Seychelles has announced two new codesharing developments. Firstly, it has extended its codeshare agreement with equity alliance partner Etihad Airways (EY) to include new connections to Australia on Etihad flights operated via Abu Dhabi. Secondly, a new codeshare deal has been reached Czech carrier, CSA Czech Airlines (OK), in which passengers of the two airlines will be able to book and travel between Prague and the Seychelles on one ticket, while connecting via Abu Dhabi.
Under the terms of the renewed Etihad deal, the new codeshare flights, on sale now, will offer connections to Seychelles from Melbourne and Sydney, operated via Abu Dhabi, bringing Air Seychelles’ network to a total of 25 destinations across the globe.
Flights from Melbourne offer daily connections. Ten flights per week from Sydney offer daily connections to Seychelles. Passengers will therefore have access to three weekly return connections from Seychelles to Melbourne and Sydney.
Under terms of the CSA Czech Airlines deal, Air Seychelles will place its ‘HM’ code on three of Czech Airlines’ flights per week between Prague and Abu Dhabi while CSA will similarly place its ‘OK’ code on the three weekly Air Seychelles flights between the Seychelles and Abu Dhabi.
The arrangement gives European travellers immediate access to two flights a week from Prague to Seychelles via Abu Dhabi, and to one flight a week from Seychelles to Prague via Abu Dhabi.
