Nigeria's largest carrier, Arik Air (W3), has signed a firm contract to acquire three CRJ1000 NextGen aircraft and four Q400 NextGen turboprop airliners from Canadian aircraft manufacturer, Bombardier. |

Based on the list price of the CRJ1000 NextGen and Q400 NextGen aircraft, the contract is valued at approximately USD297million.
Arik Air currently operates six Bombardier aircraft - four CRJ900 aircraft and two Q400 NextGen aircraft - but will become the first airline to operate the 100-seater aircraft in Africa.
