New Zealand energy consortium, GAFO Energy NZ, appears to be in the process of setting up a new regional carrier out of Moroni in the Comoros, dubbed Gafo Air. 
According to its website, Gafo plans to service Johannesburg,
Khartoum, Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta and Dar es Salaam using a B737-300
though no launch date has yet been given. Air Austral (UU) are also set to venture into the region with plans to set up its own regional carrier, Ewa, due in November.
