Fresh from the recent launch of flights to Adado, Kismayo and Baidoa, Somalia carrier Jubba Airways (6J), says it intends to launch direct Mogadishu - Dubai flights with effect from late June, though timetable checks reveal a potential July 1 launch.  |

Founded in 1998 by two Calgary-based Somali entrepreneurs, Said Nur Qailie and Abdi Hashi Dalel, Jubba Airways offers flights across Southern Somalia including Mogadishu, Galkayo, Bosaso, Hargeisa, Djibouti, Dubai and Jeddah.
Jubba Airways also operates passenger flights to Hajj and Umrah as well as cargo flights.
