The aircraft, was originally reported as having been destined for "Sky Air Corp.", believed to be affiliated to Zakaria Déby, the son of Chadian strongman, Idris Déby. Zakaria Deby is also the chairman of grounded Chadian national carrier, Toumaï Air Tchad (9D).
