As from 17JUN, Air Malta (KM), will launch a new scheduled service to Algeria’s capital, Algiers. The Maltese National Airline will operate two weekly flights every Monday and Thursday and expects to carry 6,000 passengers this summer. |

Commenting on this new service Philip Saunders, Air Malta’s Chief Commercial Officer said:
“This is good news for Malta and Algeria. Our flights will offer much needed connectivity and are expected to facilitate and enhance business opportunities between the two countries.”
With a population exceeding 37 million and an economy based on oil resources, Algeria is a country rich in history. It is the largest country in Africa and is trying hard to regain its reputation as a tourist destination.
