Algerian national carrier, Air Algérie (AH), has hinted at possible dates for its planned new routes to Johannesburg, Amsterdam and Sao Paulo. The new destinations are part of the airline's reorientation plans which will see it transform Algiers into an international hub.
Among the revelations are: B737-800 flights to Amsterdam from July 2013, A330-200 flights to Johannesburg from December 2013 and A330-200 flights to Sao Paulo from February 2014.
Air Algérie plans to use a huge fleet renewal exercise with the imminent arrival of five Boeing 737-800NGs and three new Airbus A330-200s.
