[UPDATE 2 APRIL] Air Uganda (U7) has revealed that it is in the process of planning a new route from its hub in Entebbe to the Tanzanian tourist mecca of Kilimanjaro. Currently, the airline operates to the Tanzanian capital, Dar es Salaam.
Speaking during a press conference in Dar es Salaam last week in which the Ugandan carrier also unveiled its new business class product - Crane Class - to the public, Air Uganda Country Manager, Lucy Ismail said:
“A logical next step for us is to open up Arusha to East Africa and I am delighted to announce that we have started planning for this,” Ms Ismail noted.

Entebbe - Kilimanjaro is, at present, operated 8x weekly by Tanzanian carrier, Precision Air (PW).
