EgyptAir (MS) in late January, signed a cooperation agreement with Palestinian Airlines (PF) to operate a series of pilgrimage flights on behalf of the Palestinian carrier out of its current base in El-Arish, Egypt to Muslim holy sites in Saudi Arabia.

Rushdie Zakaria, the president of EgyptAir, said:
"EgyptAir seeks to provide the best, most comfortable service to its clients from all over the world, especially its Palestinian brothers.”

The agreement runs from 30 January until 28 August 2013.
Established in 1994 and entirely owned by the Palestinian authority, Palestinian Airlines resumed operations last year after a 7 year hiatus with flights between El Arish and Amman, Jordan.
