Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier Nas Air (XY) is to expand its operations to the Sudan with the launch of flights between Dammam and Khartoum, Sudan as part of its regional expansion plans.

Nas Air's regional expansion drive comes in response to the desire of
many Nas Air customers in Saudi Arabia to strengthen the internal &
regional presence. The carrier at present serves Khartoum from Riyadh and Jeddah.
In October 2012, Nas Air and Bahraini private carrier, Bahrain Air (BN), signed a codeshare agreement on flights from Dammam which would see Nas Air placing its ‘XY’ code on Bahrain Air ‘BN’ flights currently operating from Dammam to Beirut and Khartoum.
It is not clear at this stage whether the flights themselves will be code-share or operated by Nas Air themselves on-board Nas Air equipment.
