Qatar Airways (QR) will from 31 March adjust its capacity on its Doha – Johannesburg – Cape Town route and its Doha – Johannesburg – Maputo route.

On its 4x weekly Doha – Johannesburg – Cape Town route, capacity will be reduced with the introduction of a 259-seater Boeing 777-200LR replacing the current 335-seater 777-300ER aircraft. On its 3x weekly Doha – Johannesburg – Maputo route, the 777-300ER will also be switched to a 777-200LR.
