South Africa's CemAir, has announced its acquisition of LuxAir, a South African ticketing agent with a niche market on the business routes between Johannesburg (ORTIA) and Lephalale, a coal mining town in the Limpopo province of South Africa immediately east of the Waterberg Coalfield, and Johannesburg (ORTIA) - Sishen, a large iron ore mining town in the Northern Cape, South Africa.

According to CemAir, the symbiotic relationship between the two companies motivated the acquisition: LuxAir marketed the flights, sold the tickets and provided passenger handling whilst CemAir operated the aircraft and provided operational and logistical support.
As of Monday, 25 February 2013, all aspects of flights previously marketed by LuxAir, will be branded as and operated by CemAir.

- Johannesburg - Sishen will operate during weekdays only with flights leaving Johannesburg at 06h00 and arriving in Sishen at 06h55. Return flights leave Sishen at 16h30 and arrive back in Johannesburg at 17h25. Fares begin from ZAR2223.00
- Johannesburg - Lephalale (Ellisras) will operate on Days 2,3,4,5 leaving Johannesburg at 06h30 and arriving in Lephalale at 07h15. Return flights leave Lephalale at 16h30 and arrive in Johannesburg at 17h15. fares begin at ZAR1773.84.
