Gassim Airport, which serves the city of Buraydah, the capital of Al-Qassim Province in north-central Saudi Arabia, is an agrarian based enclave whose produce entails dates, lemon, orange and other fruits. Wheat production has become so successful that Buraydah is one of the largest producers in the kingdom, thereby rendering Saudi Arabia a net exporter of cereal.
