► COTE D'IVOIRE: Ethiopian announces various changes to its West African network from June.

AirlineRoute reports that Ethiopian Airlines (ET) will from June 2013 adjust its operations to West Africa with numerous equipment and frequency changes to come into effect.

 Abidjan

- Service temporary reduced from daily to 6 weekly from 01JUN13 to 06JUL13
ET917/916 Addis Ababa – Cotonou – Abidjan eff 07JUL13 Increases from 3 to 4 weekly, however service operated by Boeing 737-700/-800 instead of 757/767
ET927/926 Addis Ababa – Ouagadougou – Abidjan Service reduce from 4 to 3 weekly

Accra

- Effective 18JUN13 Boeing 767-300 replaces 737-700/-800, daily service
 

Douala / Malabo

- Effective 01JUN13 Operational routing unified to following
ET905 Addis Ababa – Douala – Malabo – Addis Ababa - 1 Daily 767-300 service (Currently 4 of 7 weekly operates in opposite direction)

Libreville 

- Effective 01JUN13 6 weekly service operated by Boeing 757, replaces 4 weekly 757 / 2 weekly 737-800. Service increases to daily from 18JUN13
 

Lome

- Effective 01JUN13 Service increases from 5 weekly to 6 weekly. Previously displayed as up to 9 weekly
ET907/906 Addis Ababa – Lome Service reduce from 5 weekly to 3 weekly, and extends to 
- Boeing 757/767 replaces 737-700
ET506/507 Addis Ababa – Lome – Rio de Janeiro – Sao Paulo – Lome – Addis Ababa NEW 3 weekly service

N’Djamena 

- Effective 18JUN13 Service increases from 6 weekly to daily, 737-800 operating

Ouagadougou

- Effective 01JUN13 Service increases from 4 to 6 weekly
ET927/926 Addis Ababa – Ouagadougou – Abidjan Operation reduced from 4 to 3 weekly
ET907/906 Addis Ababa – Lome – Ouagadougou 3 weekly service
