Azerbaijan Airlines (J2) has announced it will operate two one-off charter flights from Baku to Egypt and Morocco respectively, in connection with the Novruz holiday, a traditional Iranian holiday which celebrates the New Year, and the coming of Spring.

According to the Azerbaijani News Agency, as part of their Novruz package deals, Azebaijan Airlines will operate a one off Baku - Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt flight on 17 March with the return flight to operate on 24 March.
In addition, a second charter flight - Baku - Agadir, Morocco - will operate on 18 March with the return flight on 25 March.
In recent years, republics in the former Soviet Union, Russia in particular, have experienced a surge in tourism abroad thanks largely to their buoyant economies and high global oil prices.
