Emirates Airlines (EK) will from 1 February 2013 boost its capacity to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania via the introduction of a daily Boeing 777-300ER. Presently, the flight operates with an A340-500.

EK's move to boost capacity to Dar es Salaam comes after British Airways last week announced it would drop its 3x weekly London Heathrow - Dar es Salaam service effective 31 March.
