► MADAGASCAR: Air Madagascar reorganizes its domestic schedule, reduces Bangkok, Guangzhou flights from mid February.

Air Madagascar (MD) has announced a variety of changes to its local and international network in an attempt at improving customer satisfaction and avoiding disruption and inconvenience. Some of the changes have been effect since late January with others set to come into effect in mid February.

Air Madagascar Routes Affected (GreatCircleMapper)

Flight times from Antananarivo Ivato Airport have been standardized with flights along the country's North- South, East - West Axis leaving no earlier than 07h00L.

Air Madagascar International Timetable Changes (Effective 14FEB13)

Effective 14FEB13, Air Madagascar is to reduce its current 3x weekly Guangzhou flights, to two weekly. The carrier reasons that this will provide a reserve aircraft which will be used in the event of a technical problem in its fleet. At the same time, the company will reduce its operating costs in fuel
