► GHANA: Starbow Airlines increases flights to Kumasi, Tamale in February.

Starbow AirlinesGhanaian carrier Starbow Airlines (S9) has announced the addition of added flights on its Accra - Kumasi and Accra - Tamale  routes following strong demand to both destinations.

Starbow now flies 4x daily on Fridays from Accra - Kumasi with the addition of an extra afternoon flight that leaves Accra at 14h15, returning from Kumasi at 15h25. Flights are not as yet reflected on the CRS.

Effective Monday 04FEB13 Starbow is add an additional 5 frequencies to its daily Accra - Tamale route.

According to the carrier, the added flights will operate in the late afternoon on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. (Days 12457).

The added flights make it possible for travellers from both Accra and Tamale to conduct day return business between the two cities, removing the need to prolong visits and incur costly night stopping. It also provides customers in Tamale the opportunity to travel to Accra in the evening to conveniently connect onto international services from Accra.
