In confirmation of our previous post, Gambian carrier Gambia Bird (3G) has officially announced new routes to Bamako (Mali), Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso), Abidjan (Ivory Coast) and Douala (Cameroon) with the new destinations set to launch from 10 January. The expansion comes after Gambia Bird (3G) took delivery of their second Airbus A319 (MSN 4691 | D-ASTB) in early December.

The airline's new connections will include flights between the following cities:
- Dakar - Freetown,
- Dakar - Bamako,
- Monrovia - Dakar,
- Ouagadougou - Dakar,
- Accra - Abidjan,
- Accra - Dakar,
- Conakry - Abidjan,
- Dakar - Abidjan,
- Freetown - Accra,
- Freetown - Barcelona,
- Barcelona - Dakar.
Future plans include additional frequency on existing
routes and introducing further new destinations within Africa and

Meanwhile, all Gambia Bird flights are now available through the Global Distribution System ‘Amadeus’.
