Béninois carrier Westair Bénin (WH) has announced plans to expand operations out of its Cotonou base to Dakar, Conakry, Banjul and Lagos having already announced a greatly expanded network and timetable in mid December.

With the arrival of a Boeing 737-400 (MSN 25112 | TC-TLC) leased from Turkey's Tailwind Airlines (TI) to supplement the carrier's Bombardier CRJ200, the airline has expanded greatly with operations to Dakar, Conakry, Banjul and Lagos to be launched in due course. According to the carrier's website, destinations that are operational as of 17 December are:
• Abidjan (Cote d'Ivoire)
• Douala (Cameroon)
• Libreville (Gabon)
• Niamey (Niger) (Launched 19 December)
• Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso)
• Brazzaville (Congo)
• Pointe-Noire (Congo)
