[UPDATE 26 MARCH] British Airways (BA) has announced various changes to its African timetable to come into effect for the Northern Summer 2013.

London Heathrow – Cairo, Egypt
- From 1 July 2013 – 4 October 2013 Boeing 767 replaces Airbus A321 (CAI from 2 July 2013 to 5 October 2013). [UPDATE 26 MARCH]  01JUL13 – 11OCT13 Boeing 767 replaces Airbus A321 (CAI from 02JUL13 to 12OCT13.)
- The Boeing 767 will operate from 1 February 2013 to 29 March 2013 from LHR ( 2 February 2013 to 30 March 2013 from CAI).

  • BA154 CAI0820 – 1150LHR 767 D
 London Heathrow – Johannesburg, South Africa 
- Effective 29 April 2013, service increases from 14x to 17x weekly once again for Northern Summer season, 777-200ER operating on BA033/034 (BA033/034 from 29 April 2013 to 31 May 2013 operates with 747-400 on Day 1 from LHR, Day 2 from JNB)

London Heathrow – Luanda, Angola 
- Service increases from 2x weekly (Day 25 from LHR) to 3x weekly (Day 7 from LHR); It is also possible that BA is planning to adjust operational days instead of a frequency increase. Additional changes will be reported in the future. [UPDATE 26 MARCH] Increase has been CANCELLED.
