Eritrean startup Massawa Airways, on 29 November, officially took delivery of its first Chinese manufactured MA60 (TBD10 | E3-AAV).
At a ceremony held in Xian, China, AVIC Xi'an Aircraft International Corporation (XAIC) handed over the MA60 aircraft to Massawa Airways. The subsequent ferry flight to the Eritrean Red Sea port town of Massawa, Eritrea operated via Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan province on 2 December.

To date, the MA series aircraft has been ordered by customers from 15 countries, with Africa's clients consisting of Air Zimbabwe, Air Burundi, Trans Air Congo and Camair-Co.
