South African Airways (SA) has signed a reciprocal code-share agreement with fellow Star Alliance member, Air Canada (AC), effective 13 December 2012.
Air Canada operated by South African Airways:
- Johannesburg – Cape Town
- Johannesburg – London Heathrow
South African Airways operated by Air Canada:
- London Heathrow – Toronto
- London Heathrow – Vancouver
The two also plans to expand codeshare operation via US points (New York JFK / Washington Dulles)

Airlink (4Z), SA Express (XZ), Mango (JE), Air India (AI), Air Mauritius
(MK), Emirates (EK), JetBlue Airways (B6), LAM Mozambique Airlines
(TM), Qantas (QF), Virgin Atlantic Airways (VS).
