The arrival of Condor flight DE6228 from Frankfurt to Cape Town at 10h52L today, marked the launch of the airline's 2x weekly return Frankfurt/Cape Town flights.
The direct flights out of Frankfurt will operate with a Boeing 767-300 and will depart on Tuesdays and Saturdays with return flights out of Cape Town on Wednesdays and Sundays. The new service will fill a gap left by Lufthansa’s change in seasonal service to Cape Town, which now operates from Munich, as a consequence of Frankfurt's new 11pm Noise Abatement Curfew Laws.
