► SOUTH AFRICA: Fly Go-Air delays launch until 10 December, to use a Beech 1900.

Fly Go-AirSouth African start-up Fly Go-Air (KEM) has announced that it will now launch operations on Monday 10 December with its debut route still to be Johannesburg Lanseria airport to Kruger/Mpumulanga International Airport.

In addition, the carrier will commence ops using an 18-seater Beechcraft 1900, instead of the previously announced Bombardier CRJ100, from Lanseria to Kruger International three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays instead of the previously announced 6x weekly.

The Beech aircraft is sourced from South Africa's CemAir.

According to South African online paper TourismUpdate, Martin Boshoff, operations manager Fly Go Air, says the airline has received a great number of bookings through its online portal for the December holidays. 

Boshoff went on to add that although no special events have been planned to mark its inaugural flight, the airline is offering special introductory fares.
