British Airways (BA) will once again boost its London Heathrow – Johannesburg, South Africa frequencies from 14x to 17x weekly effective 29 April 2013. A Boeing 777-200ER will add capacity.

The annual boost is in preparation for the Northern Summer tourist season, which this year has seen improved numbers on its London Heathrow - Cape Town route. As a result, there has been an increase in Cape Town bound flights from both British Airways and rival Virgin Atlantic (VS).
