After meeting with Cameroonian government officials last week, a high powered Chinese delegation led by Mr. Ma Fuan, the Chairman and CEO of the AVIC
International Company in China, manufacturers of the MA 60 plane, and several other businessmen, has pledged to make Cameroon the technical base for the maintenance of all its aircraft operating in Africa. |

Whilst no specific date was given for the centre's establishment, the delegation did give an update on Camair-Co's USD115million order for three MA60s, originally due in September of this year:
"During their talks with (Cameroonian Prime Minister)Prime Minister, Philemon Yang, the Chinese promised to furnish Camair-co the national airline carrier with two aircrafts of the same type early next year. "
Also during the visit, another two MA60s were offered to the country to help with police & law enforcement.
