Kenya Airways (KQ), has announced the signing of a codeshare agreement signed with fellow SkyTeam member, South Korea's Korean Air (KE), thereby allowing the Kenyan national carrier to offer direct
return flights between Seoul and Nairobi.

“Kenya Airways seeks to strengthen its presence in Asia by offering better connections to its passengers from Africa. Our association with Korean Air gives us an opportunity to offer our customers a seamless connection to and from the South Korean capital,” said Rosemary Adogo, Southern Africa Area Manager at Kenya Airways.
Korean Air started a 3x weekly Seoul - Nairobi service, using an Airbus A330-200, on 21 June 2012.
