[UPDATED 8 NOVEMBER 2012] Ethiopian Airlines (ET) is to further delay its planned deployment of the Boeing 787 on its daily Ababa – Johannesburg, South Africa route until 30 November 2012. The route will remain at a Boeing 737-800.
Dreamliner service to Johannesburg will now only come into effect from 1 December 2012, instead of the previously announced date of 28 October 2012.

►[UPDATE 8 NOVEMBER 2012] As a result of the decision to assign its Boeing 787 aircraft to flights to Harare and Lusaka on and after 1 December 2012, Ethiopian Airlines has cancelled its plan to operate 787 aircraft to Johannesburg, and replaced by a Boeing 767-300.
However, it will operate a limited-time service from 14 December 2012 to 23 December 2012 and 02 January 2013 to 07 January 2013.
