►► LIBYA: Afriqiyah announces Paris, Casablanca, Rome, Khartoum, Dubai from December.

Libyan carrier, Afriqiyah (8U), has announced plans to launch various new routes ex-Tripoli and ex-Benghazi effective 1 December.

According to the carrier, the new routes will include:

Tripoli, Libya to:

• Paris CDG (France) starting 1 December 2012
• Casablanca (Morocco) starting 1 December 2012
• Dubai (UAE) starting 1 December 2012.

Benghazi, Libya to:

• Khartoum (Sudan) 2x weekly flights starting 15 October 2012
• Rome (Italy) starting 1 December 2012.
• Dubai (UAE) starting 1 December 2012.

Benghazi - Tunis (Tunisia) & Benghazi - Alexandria (Egypt) will both increase to 4x weekly.
