Egyptair Maintenance & Engineering, a subsidiary of Egypt's national carrier Egyptair (MS), has selected Messier-Bugatti-Dowty for the exchange and overhaul of landing gear on ten of Egyptair's Airbus A320s, and for the
centre landing gears on three of Egyptair's remaining Airbus A340s, prior to their phasing out.

The A320 landing gears will be overhauled Messier-Bugatti-Dowty’s MRO
(Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) facility in Gloucester, United
Kingdom whilst the Airbus A340 landing gears will be seen to in Molsheim, France.
Messier-Bugatti-Dowty is a company involved in the design, development, manufacture and customer support of all types of aircraft landing gear, wheels and brakes and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Safran SA. It is the world's largest manufacturer of aircraft landing gear.
