[UPDATE 7 NOVEMBER 2012] Despite having previously announced that its originally intended Boeing 787 Dreamliner service from Addis Ababa to Harare, Zimbabwe and Lusaka, Zambia was cancelled, Ethiopian Airlines (ET) has loaded a 6x weekly Dreamliner service onto the route, with a Boeing 777-200LR once weekly starting 30 September 2012 and valid until 27 October 2012.
As it stands, the 787 will operate everyday except for Sunday, which will see the 777 in service. From the 28th onwards, a standard Boeing 767-300ER resumes ops.

September will be a very busy month for Ethiopian Airlines, as its Cargo Division will take delivery of its first Boeing 777F (MCN: 41846 | ET-APS) on 19 September 2012, whilst according to the reliable Boeing 787 blog "NYC787", Ethiopian Airlines' second Boeing 787 Dreamliner pictured above, (MCN: 34746 | ET-AOR) should be ready for delivery on 26 September along with its third (MCN: 34747 | ET-AOS ) due on 18 October 2012, though obviously those dates are not set in stone.
[UPDATE 12 OCTOBER 2012] Ethiopian Airlines is extending their Boeing 787 operations on their Addis Ababa – Harare – Lusaka – Addis Ababa service, into November 2012.
The 787 service operates daily from 28 October 2012 to 30 November 2012. Since 1 October it has operated 6x weekly.
