In the last few months, Mombasa has seen the withdrawal of various international airlines from the coastal city for one reason or another, the latest being Brussels Airlines (SN) who dropped their Brussels - Nairobi - Mombasa flight before it even started.
Kilimanjaro instead, is reaping the fruits of its USD30million investment into an infrastructural upgrade that has since rendered the airport open to larger, heavier aircraft than before.
