►► SWEDEN: Ethiopian Airlines incorporating Cairo stop on Stockholm flights.

Ethiopian AirlinesEthiopian Airlines (ET) is currently incorporating a stopover in Cairo, Egypt on its previously direct Addis Ababa, Ethiopia - Stockholm, Sweden flights.

The route change has been in vigour since 10 August 2012 and will last until 10 September 2012, though the GDS has it until late October.

- Effective 10 August 2012 until 10 September 2012.

- On 27 August 2012, the service operates via Brussels, Belgium.

►[UPDATE 30 August 2012] Ethiopian Airlines is to extend its Addis Ababa – Cairo – Stockholm service until 30 November 2012 and will substitute a Boeing 737-800 for the current Boeing 757-200 equipment in use from 11 September 2012 to 30 November 2012.

►[UPDATE 11 October 2012] Ethiopian Airlines from 1 December 2012, will continue to operate Addis Ababa – Cairo – Stockholm service, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Overall service to Stockholm will increase from 5x weekly to daily.
