► MALI: Air Mali signs code-share with Air France.

Air MaliFollowing on from last week's code share agreement signing with Air Burkina of Burkina Faso, Air France announced today, the signing of another code share agreement, this time with Mali's Air Mali (I5). The agreement will see Air France selling Air Mali a quota of seats on its daily flights from Paris to the Malian capital, Bamako.

Currently, Air France operates a daily Airbus A330 flight to Bamako from its hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

This code-share agreement reflects our desire to expand air transport to France for the benefit of our customers”. "


Air Mali was set up in May 2005 with the aim of opening up Mali as a whole. The airline operates a fleet of McDonnell Douglas MD87s, Bombardier CRJ 200s and Beech19s on its network. Along with fellow Celestair companies, Air Burkina and Air Cote d'Ivoire, Air Mali operates regular services to 15 cities in West and Central Africa on departure from its hubs in Bamako and Ouagadougou.
