Royal Jordanian (RJ) has announced the temporary suspension of Amman - Nairobi from 1st May 2012 until 27 October 2012, where upon it will recommence 4x weekly flights using an Airbus A320.Planned Winter 2012/13 schedule:
- RJ515 AMM2030 – 0255+1NBO 319 1357
- RJ516 NBO0350 – 0800AMM 319 1346
The route suspension comes on the heels of a series of route cancellations: Amman - Brussels & Munich as well as the deference of Amman - Accra - Lagos until June 2012, on top of 1,400 flights that were cancelled last year, which the Jordanian flag carrier says, is a consequence of serious political and social turmoil in the region.
